This travel film was shot on the move — landscape, weather and available light taken as they came, with a camera package small enough to keep up.
Travel cinematography is documentary discipline applied to beauty: waking for the light, travelling light enough to react, resisting the postcard frame in favour of the honest one. Movement was motivated by the journey itself — roads, rivers, ridgelines pulling the camera forward.
Work like this keeps the eye fast between commissioned projects — no second takes, no lighting truck, just judgement — and it shows in how quickly I find frames on any set.
