Meri Kahani is a narrative ad film — a full emotional arc compressed into commercial running time. Every shot works twice: advancing the story and holding up as an advertising frame.
Compression shaped the cinematography. Story information was built into composition itself — where a character sits in the frame, what the light says about the moment — so the edit could move fast without losing feeling. The palette shifts subtly across the arc, warming as the story resolves.
Narrative advertising is where my film-institute training and commercial instincts meet, and it remains the brief I most want on my desk: story-first, director-close, built shot by shot.
